MARY GALVANO

INSPIRATIONAL SINGER , WRITER & SPEAKER

From Broadway to sacred to patriotic, Mary Galvano is one of Florida's premier soloist. Mary has sung and danced on stage with people such as Dinah Shore, Morey Amsterdam and Robert Merrill, and has spent most of her time donating her voice to notable causes and singing for the Catholic Church; she has sung solo throughout Europe including Poland and Prague when the late Pope John Paul II visited and througout the Holy Lands, for PGA & LPGA events, patriotic ceremonies, fundraisers, musical theatre, and ball games with the National Anthem for teams such as the Boston Red Sox, Blue Jays, and the NY Yankees.

In 1997 Mary traveled to Poland and Czech Republic (the trip that changed her life) where she inspired thousands as a soloist at some of the most beautiful cathedrals and churches in the world when the late Pope John Paul II came to visit for the Eucharistic Congress. The day the Pope visited town, she sang the Mass and her inspiring rendition of Ave Maria at the English-speaking delegation of 300 cardinals, bishops and priests.  In November 1999 she traveled to the Holy Lands as a soloist for Mass at major shrines.

In 2002, Mary sang at the site of Flight 93 in Shankesville, Pennsylvania for a memorial service for the victims’ family of the 9/11 tragedy. She sang a song she wrote, “America, In God We Trust”, which is now placed in the National Archives of the Flight 93 Memorial by the United States Department of Interior.  Her CD called, "My God, My Country, My Heritage", includes original songs "America, In God We Trust" , "Precious Gift, Little Miracle" and "Christmas In America", increasingly becoming the next big Christmas song in the country.

As an LPGA Class A member Mary also keeps active helping grow the game of golf.
